How it compares
The B complex we take ourselves is actually Seeking Health’s B Complex MF, which uses the active forms of folate, B6 and B12 (you’ll find it on our Affiliates page). Solaray’s B-Complex 100 uses the standard forms, folic acid, pyridoxine and cyanocobalamin, at high doses and a lower price. Most people convert those just fine, which makes this a solid everyday option. If you know you don’t convert folate well, for example if you carry an MTHFR variant, the active forms are the better pick.
One capsule has 100mg of B6, which is the upper daily limit set for adults, so one a day is plenty.
Who may reach for it
People who want a simple, affordable daily B complex. If you’d rather have the active forms, How it compares points you to the one we take.
